House prices are still rising.

Last month, a nearly 1% surge continued, and the average sales price of apartments across the country exceeded the 500 million won mark for the first time in history.

At the same time, officetel prices are skyrocketing.

Amid the supply shortage, the rise in house prices does not seem to be slowing down.

Last month, home prices nationwide rose 0.92% from a month ago.

Although the increase has been reduced compared to the previous month, it is still in an uptrend.

The metropolitan area rose by more than 10% cumulatively through September.

Narrowing the stats to apartments makes the situation even worse.

Apartment prices nationwide soared 1.2% in just one month.

The metropolitan area led the overall upward trend, rising more than 1% for the fourth straight month.

As a result, the average nationwide apartment price has risen from 288 million won in April 2017, before the Moon Jae-in government was inaugurated.

Last month, for the first time in history, even the wall of 500 million won was broken down.

This is the result of an increase of more than 77% in 4 years and 5 months.

As house prices are rising so quickly, even the price of officetels, which can be seen as an alternative, is wriggling.

In the third quarter, the sales price of officetel rose nearly 1% from the previous quarter.

Considering that there was a slight decline in the third quarter of last year, it is interpreted that end-users are flocking to officetels with relatively low prices and less regulation in recent years.

The problem is that it’s hard to see any signs of getting better.

Although the government is suppressing demand such as loan regulations, there are a lot of criticisms that it is difficult to expect a big effect.

In the end, it is analyzed that measures are needed to not only supply new construction, but also to make multi-family homes available for sale.
