Saudi Arabia is implementing a strong level of mandatory vaccination, including prohibiting people from entering public places unless they are vaccinated against COVID-19.
In Saudi Arabia, starting from the 1st of next month, in order to enter public places or businesses such as schools, shops, restaurants, cafes, concert halls and public transport, you must prove your vaccination at least once through a mobile phone application, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Also, starting from the 9th of next month, Saudi nationals must complete the second dose to travel abroad.
To date, the rate of one or more doses in Saudi Arabia is 53% and 19% of the population has been vaccinated.
Saudi Arabia has more than 520,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 8,000 deaths.
