‘Three major agencies’ is an old saying, HYBE, the trending entertainment industry. In Episode 3 of the Corporate Naming Lab, we learned about the team names of Hive and his idol group.
Hive, which started as Big Hit Entertainment, founded in 2005 by CEO Bang Si-hyuk, is famous as the management company of BTS. Here, Big Hit has the meaning of ‘to gain a lot of popularity’ or ‘to hit a big hit’. Perhaps thanks to the name, Big Hit Entertainment has vomited the spirit of nurturing a world-class artist called BTS.
So, what is the name of the BTS team? We also learned about the team names of BTS and their junior group, Tomorrow X Together.
We also looked at the team names of other idol groups under Hive’s label. Belief Lab’s N-Hyphen, Source Music’s Le Seraphim, and Pledis’s Seventeen and Fromis Nine. What do the names of these groups mean?
