‘Tales of Arise’, which was released for the first time in five years and received favorable reviews from critics and fans, was named the best selling product in the world on Steam after a long time.

As of 3:10 pm on the 30th, Tales of Arise is ranked 8th in the world’s best-selling product on Steam. Tales of Arise is a work to commemorate the 26th anniversary of the Tales series, Bandai Namco’s representative RPG, and is the 17th original title. It was released on September 10th last year, and immediately after it rose to the top of the Steam global best selling rankings, it was again ranked at the top of the sales rankings after 8 months.

One of the factors contributing to the rise in the rankings is the 50% discount sale of the Deluxe Edition held over the weekend. This is the biggest discount since its release, and it was enough to attract the attention of many fans who were hesitant to purchase because the game itself received good reviews from critics enough to have a Metacritic score of 87.

In addition, My Time at Sandlock, which ranked second on the list of products sold as a sequel to My Time at Portia, fell sharply to number 9, and Elden Ring took its place again. FIFA 22, which is on sale at an 84% discount, climbed to third place again, and the Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim Special Edition also took 10th place thanks to a 60% discount sale.

In the concurrent users ranking, there was no significant change in the overall ranking, but Destiny 2 and FIFA 22 took the rankings up one step at a time, taking 7th and 1st places, respectively.
