Police raided the houses of Sathyan and Mukam Cheruvadi Chauthadika Muneer at Panai Kaipram’s house in connection with the shooting of Wilson and his family at Nanmanda 12. Stamps, checks and revenue stamp signed bond papers were recovered from Sathyan’s house. The raid, led by Balussery Station House Officer MK Suresh Kumar, started on Monday afternoon and ended in the evening.
Sathyan, who pays interest, had registered and bought Wilson’s house and land in Nanmanda. Wilson says the loan was repaid but the house and land were not returned. Balussery police have registered a case against Sathyan. Sathyan is absconding. Sathyan had earlier run a financial institution in Ullieri. CIMK Suresh said nothing was found in Muneer’s house. SI K Rafique, Mohammad Puthussery and Shalima were present.
