Prime Minister Kishida’s secretary, who made controversial statements such as “I hate to see” about same-sex marriage, has been dismissed, but the scandal has not subsided.
In the National Assembly, claudication continued, with opposition lawmakers leaving at one time, and the ruling coalition also criticized the passive response.

These are the words of the secretary who assisted Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Prime Minister Kishida dismissed the party immediately as criticism grew over the remarks that came out of the mouth of a government official.

However, the controversy over the remarks has not subsided.
In the Japanese Diet, some members of the opposition party left the Japanese parliament, saying that the government’s explanation for the situation was insufficient.
The Japanese government has repeatedly apologized.

The representative of the Komeito Party of the ruling coalition also criticized the ruling party’s response to sexual minorities.
This is because some Liberal Democratic Party lawmakers oppose it, and the bill that spreads understanding of sexual minorities is not going to the National Assembly.

Last year, a Japanese court ruled that the absence of a system for same-sex couples to become a family was ‘unconstitutional’.
Conservative courts have also issued judgments that value human rights and diversity, but the government and the ruling party are not following the trend of this era.

Prime Minister Kishida’s eldest son, who also works as a secretary to the prime minister, has been rumored to have been sightseeing in an official car during an overseas tour last month.
Amidst a series of bad news, the approval rating for the Kishida cabinet has returned to a downward trend in a month, and it is difficult to seize the opportunity for a rebound.
