Modern people are busy. From preparing and preparing healthy food ingredients that I have picked by hand, to sitting down with my family to eat and clean up and wash the dishes.

It seems almost impossible to make a daily meal like this. As a result, children are increasingly having no choice but to provide meals or snacks with food purchased from outside.

Adults aren’t the only ones busy. Children also have to work through many schedules until late at night, such as school, academy, and watching online lectures, and even though her mother carefully prepares healthy food, there is not much time to eat comfortably at home.

In the end, it naturally leads to convenience food intake, and in the case of children, excessive fast food or instant food intake can adversely affect height growth, so special attention is required.

Fast food is literally like food that busy people order quickly and eat and finish. In many cases, it is composed to capture the taste buds at once with a stimulating taste rather than the deep taste of ordinary ingredients. Because of its addictive taste, I keep looking for fast food even when I’m not particularly busy.

The problem is that, while fast food is usually very high in calories, nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber are low.

In particular, it is highly likely that you will consume excessive amounts of saturated and trans fats, salts and sugars. Also, there are many cases where artificial additives are used excessively to enhance the taste, which is also not good.

Due to the addictive taste, it is easy to refrain from consuming it and eat it every time there is an opportunity. When too much energy is absorbed than the calories burned by activity, the accumulation of fat increases.

Obesity in children is pathologically different from obesity in adults. There are two major types of obesity from the point of view of cells: an increase in the size of fat cells and an increase in the number of fat cells. Obesity in adults is mostly an increase in the size of fat cells, but in children, the number of fat cells increases, and mixed type obesity increases in size. The number of fat cells increased in childhood does not decrease again as they grow older, increasing the probability that childhood obesity will lead to adult obesity.

Obesity hinders the growth of children. Obesity induces the secretion of a large amount of a hormone called leptin, which promotes the activation of growth hormone, causing changes in secondary sexual characteristics to occur at an early age. Precocious puberty refers to breast lumps and painful pubic hairs appearing under the age of 8 in girls, and enlarged penis and testicles and pubic hairs appearing in boys under 9 years of age.

The secondary sexual characteristics of puberty start earlier than other children. At first, it may seem that they are growing much better because they grow faster than their peers, but because they end as quickly as they start, their final height is smaller than others. it is highly likely to be

Fast food and instant food can also cause metabolic syndrome in children. Metabolic syndrome refers to the simultaneous occurrence of three or more of high blood pressure, high fasting blood sugar, high triglycerides, low high-density cholesterol, and abdominal obesity. Metabolic syndrome increases the incidence of adult diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular disease. Although it usually occurs in adults, the rate of metabolic syndrome appearing in children is increasing these days. In particular, metabolic syndrome in childhood and adolescence can hinder growth and continue to adversely affect health even into adulthood.

Growth is caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Although genetic factors are innate, environmental factors can be changed for good enough by acquired efforts. Among them, the part related to eating habits is very important.

In order for children to grow up well, it is good to eat foods made with good ingredients on a regular basis in an appropriate amount. Parents’ efforts and habits have a big influence on forming good eating habits for children, so not only the children but also the whole family should strive to develop good eating habits.

Fast food and instant food cause loss of appetite after ingestion due to their stimulating taste, which often breaks the normal eating rhythm. This further exacerbates the nutrient imbalance. In this way, the intake of nutrients necessary for growth is less, so even if you eat a full meal, you should be careful because it can cause problems with growth.

Fast food is sometimes referred to as junk food, but it is said that there are not many elements that are beneficial to health. Although there is the aforementioned problem of growth, there is also a study result that the IQ in childhood was lower than that of their peers in the group that ate a lot of junk food in infancy. You have to realize that spending is never a waste of time.

From choosing healthy ingredients to cooking, eating, and organizing together, how about taking a day off during the holidays and making time for the whole family to spend the day together?
