Eleven Pablo Picasso paintings have sold for $110 million during an auction in the United States of America.

The paintings have been on display for nearly twenty years, on the walls of a hotel in Las Vegas.

The Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas, owned by the resort group MGM, put paintings on its walls so that diners could see them, and some of them took pictures of them.

The company said the sale of the paintings, at the auction, which took place on Saturday, will help it diversify its collection of high-profile paintings.

The sold works included 9 oil paintings and 2 on ceramics, by the famous Spanish painter, who died in 1973.

These works span 50 years of Picasso’s life.

The most expensive painting sold for 40 million dollars, 500,000 dollars, which is the painting of the woman in the red and orange hat, which represents Picasso’s lover and muse, Marie Therese Walter.

Expectations were that the painting would sell for between $20 and $30 million.

A huge painting, The Man and the Child, sold for $24.4 million.

The painting is about two meters high, and was completed by Picasso in 1959, and is an important example of his work during the stage of his artistic creativity in that period, according to the auction house (Sotheby’s).

The works sold also included a painting (Still Alive with a Basket of Fruits and Flowers) painted by Picasso, during the Nazi occupation of the French capital, Paris, in 1942, which was sold for 16.6 million dollars.

“Despite the devastation and the difficult period the world lived through during World War II, the period between 1940 and 1944 was one of Picasso’s most artistically rich periods,” Sotheby’s said.

The hotel began owning the painting collection twenty years ago, by Stephen Wynn, one of the magnates of owners of hotels and casinos in the United States, the former owner of the Bellagio Hotel.

The auction is part of the hotel’s attempts to display more paintings of women and painters from minorities and developing countries, as part of its new collection.

The auction house did not reveal the names of the buyers.

The “Women of Algeria” is the most expensive Picasso ever sold, when it sold at auction in 2015, for $179.4 million.
