Fulda (oz / pf) – The employees of the Fulda department store H&M donated warm clothing to the Caritas Association for the Fulda and Geisa regions. Store manager Alexandra Ruth had the idea. Together with Department Manager Sabine Schwab, she asked the employees to donate money for a social project.
The employees were very motivated to take part in the social project. The money was used to purchase goods from H&M, but not bought in the branch, as there is currently no retail sale. Ruth and Schwab were able to hand over 111 items of clothing in the Caritas clothing market at Am Abtstor.
Since the “hot truck” served lunch at Haus Jakobsbrunnen on the same day, the guests had the opportunity to stock up on clothing in a separate room in groups of two people in compliance with the rules of distance and hygiene. The high-quality branded clothing was a popular product. Caritas managing director Susanne Saradj thanked the two bearers on behalf of the association for the generous campaign as well as the donations from the Fulda branch.
