127,190 new confirmed cases, down to 100,000 in a week… 218 deaths, 1108 critically ill – The Cheonji Ilbo

[천지일보=홍보영 기자] The number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Korea has plummeted to 120,000. Among hospitalized patients, 1,108 patients with severe or severe stomach disease.

According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) on the 4th, there were 127,190 new confirmed cases as of 00:00 that day. The total number of confirmed cases in Korea was 14,01,406 (31,214 imported from overseas).

Of the 127,190 new cases, 127,157 were from local communities, and 15 from overseas. There were 218 deaths in Korea, bringing the total to 17,453 (fatal rate of 0.12%).

If we look at the new confirmed cases in the local community by region, Seoul 2894, Busan 4080, Daegu 3452, Incheon 5545, Gwangju 5801, Daejeon 4586, Ulsan 2481, Sejong 1630, Gyeonggi 36937, Gangwon 5216 People, Chungbuk 3956, Chungnam 5642, Jeonbuk 5086, Jeonnam 5959, Gyeongbuk 6266, Gyeongnam 7383, Jeju 2261.

The estimated 15 imported cases are from China, 1 from China, 7 from other Asian countries, 4 from Europe, 2 from the Americas, and 1 from Oceania. Six of them were confirmed during the quarantine stage and nine from the community. There are 7 Koreans and 8 foreigners.
