Fall 46: Ms. R., 21 years old, came to Donum Vitae during a difficult period. She had only recently lived in Ludwigshafen with her boyfriend and had become pregnant unplanned. She wanted to start studying in the fall, worked in sales and wanted to save money until then. Her partner attended German courses and worked part-time. The pregnancy and the decision to have their baby changed the life of the young couple. Financial aid for baby equipment and pregnant women’s clothing could be paid through the federal foundation. The baby has now been born and the young family will continue to receive support from the Donum Vitae pregnancy conflict counseling service. The association in turn is supported by Aktion 72.
Fall 47: Ms. E. came to Germany with invalid papers. For years she has been using the services of the Street Docs of the Ecumenical Support Community Ludwigshafen. Everything is missing in her apartment. It is also hardly possible to establish a reasonably hygienic condition. A small donation from Aktion 72 was used to purchase cleaning utensils and special products. In addition, the table and chair from the bulky waste were replaced with more homely furniture. In addition, Street Doc organized a walking aid and several bus tickets so that the highly educated but completely lonely lady could occasionally drive to the city library and to the practice on Dessauer Straße.
Fall 48: Julia, Sarah, Tom, Timmy and five other children argue more often, be it with the sibling or the parents. The eight young people want to change that, but don’t know how. With a psychotherapist in the SeHT association (self-employment assistance for partial performance weaknesses), they work out how feelings arise, what strengths the children have and how they can express their wishes. In this seminar, the children learn strategies for regulating feelings. They work out that a family can only succeed together. Aktion 72 supports the association.
Fall 49: Mr. G., 31, has been working in the Ludwigshafen workshops for seven years. He lives with his sick mother in a rented apartment in Ludwigshafen. Because of his low income, little money is left for leisure activities or other wishes. He is a football enthusiast, a big fan of Borussia Dortmund and, for example, would like to travel to Dortmund for a game or buy a BVB jersey. For this he needs support from Action 72.
Fall 50: The self-help association Blaues Kreuz is proud of the voluntary motivation group and the open group. Despite the Corona crisis, you have been active again since June – in compliance with the hygiene rules and with binding registration by email or telephone. Action 72 helps to get the offer.
Fall 51: A volunteer family companion from the German Child Protection Association supported her family with four children in need and in need, from donations from Aktion 72, with the joint purchase of groceries and everyday items.
