ORussia’s occupation of Ukraine has slowed down in two months and two weeks. However, the international media reported that Russia was withdrawing its troops from the northwestern part of Ukraine, especially from Belarus, which was attacking Ukraine, and was preparing to deploy such troops in the southeastern part of the country. This was a temporary relief to Ukraine from the threat posed to the capital, Kiev. Meanwhile, Russian forces reportedly lost about 20,000 of their troops during the Ukraine occupation.

Russia has lost 1,351 troops and wounded 3,825 in the war. NATO estimates the loss at 7,000 to 15,000 Russian troops. As Ukraine enters its 40th day, Ukraine has officially announced that 18,300 Russian troops have been killed in the country.

The Russian military has lost 147 aircraft, 134 helicopters and 647 tanks, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a Facebook post on Monday. At least 1,844 Russian armored vehicles, 330 artillery systems, 107 rocket launcher systems and 54 anti-aircraft war systems were destroyed in the war.

In addition, the Russian military lost 1,273 vehicles, seven ships, cutters, 76 fuel tanks and 92 drones, the statement said. The Russian war against Ukraine, which began on February 24, has wreaked havoc in Ukraine.

According to UN figures, 1,417 civilians have been killed and 2,038 injured in Ukraine. The actual figure could be even higher. The UN refugee agency estimates that more than 4.1 million Ukrainians have fled to other countries.

Russia is reportedly sending 60,000 Russian reserve battalions to intensify its offensive in eastern Ukraine and in the Russian separatist eastern Donetsk and Luhansk provinces.

Russia’s claim that Kyiv was never their target was withdrawn. But the reality is that the Russian army has been fighting on Ukrainian soil for so many days that it has not even come close to Kiev.

Meanwhile, reports say that Russia is still bombing Mariupol. Ukraine claims that Russian forces have killed about 5,000 civilians in Mariupol alone.

Russia is still shelling Rubishne in Luhansk. People are still living in bunkers. People were warned to wear wet masks following the spread of a dangerous chemical containing red and brown dust particles in the atmosphere.

Both sides blamed each other for the destruction of Mariupol. Luhansk Governor Sergei Guide said Russia was planning a major offensive in the region.

‘We understand that they are preparing for a complete big move. Do not wait until your house is bombed. ‘ He warned

Ukraine’s general staff have accused Russia of again using banned cluster munitions in Mykolayiv, targeting civilian buildings, including a children’s hospital, in an attack that killed 11 people and wounded 61 others.

British defense officials warn that low-level fighting is likely to continue in some areas. Russia may try to retain parts of the newly reclaimed territory.

Earlier this week, the remaining Russian troops withdrew from Kiev and nearby areas. However, several international media outlets reported that the Russian withdrawal was a prelude to the invasion of eastern Ukraine.

Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko has requested that the Russian army withdraw from Kiev but not leave the area for a week. His request came after reports emerged that Russian troops had planted explosives, including landmines, around the city as it was leaving Kiev.

He said the situation in eastern Ukraine was “critical.” More than 5,000 civilians were killed in the brutal siege of Mariupol alone. Residents have been stranded in shelters for weeks without food, electricity or water.

Mayor Vitaly Klitschko claimed that the Russian army had lost 20,000 of its troops. He also accused the Russians of conspiring to use chemical weapons. Meanwhile, Ukraine said it suspected Russia of carrying out a nitric acid attack.

Meanwhile, Russian troops discovered mass graves in the retreating cities. In many cases, hundreds of people were found dead with their hands tied behind their backs.

About 90 percent of the cities where the Russian army retreated were destroyed. Not a single building that was not demolished was reported to have died. President Selensky has blamed the Bucha massacre on Russia’s Ukrainian genocide.

Following the Ukraine invasion, the European Union and the United States announced a series of sanctions against Russia. Ukraine has called for a comprehensive investigation into the death toll from the attack.

The United States will ask the UN General Assembly to suspend Russia from the Human Rights Council. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said Putin’s death in Bucha was “fake” news aimed at defaming Russia.
