2020 NFL Mock Draft and NFL Draft Prop bets

Burrow to Cincy seems inevitable after clearing things up at the Combine, especially when the Bengals are working to send Dalton somewhere else. You can read my scouting report and statistical evaluation of Burrow here.

After swapping the actual draft picks for backup QB Kyle Allen, I would be really surprised if Washington designed a quarterback here, so Young is the chalk. He is the most consensual non-QB prospect in the class.

The Lions can move down two or three points and design a blue chip defense perspective. So this is simply a decision about who trades – the dolphins or chargers. I personally bet that Tua would go to the chargers with a quota of +300, but I think the most likely scenario is that the dolphins act to feed him. Miami has more tips and is not that low on the board. I’ve also heard that chargers love Herbert. You can read my early scouting report and statistical analysis of Tagovailoa here.

GM Dave Gettleman never acts and always has an eye on great athletes. There are some OTs that fit the shape, but Simmons, a SPARQ athlete with an adjusted 99th percentile, is rare and immediately improves the Giants’ 27th DVOA defense. Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller also said, “Many NFL scouts believe the New York Giants Clemson linebacker / security Isaiah Simmons will rank fourth overall.”

With Detroit by Darius Slay, this fit is as obvious as it gets. Okudah was my favorite defensive player to watch films about this design, and he consolidated his top 10 status with a customized 99th percentile SPARQ athleticism. Okudah came 6th in the overall outlook on my Analytics Top 300 Big Board.

<p type = "text" content = "I heard that the chargers that matched the Bolts liked the chargers for a couple of seasons, so I play it safe and let them stay. I don't know how high they are Tua, who is likely to be ranked 3rd overall with an aggressive trade offer in Detroit. Two things I noticed recently Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network had the Tua chargers exchanged Bill design and Jeremiah Charger proposal should draw Tua. Jeremiah is not only the best-used design expert, but also the TV color analyst of the chargers during the NFL season. He will likely give further clues as to what will happen to LA in April. So pay close attention to it. “data-reactid =” 47 “> I heard that the chargers that matched the Bolts liked the chargers for a couple of seasons, so I play it safe and leave them there. A 45th percentile SPARQ performance on the NFL Combine enables a Brown slide, but the off-season movements of the Panthers make this a great prospect of teamwork. If Carolina hadn’t swapped for OT Russell Okung I would have made fun of one of the best offensive tackles here.

Trading with DeAndre Hopkins increased the likelihood that Arizona would design an offensive tackle here. Which is more difficult to find out. Does a 6’8 “tackle in Mekhi Becton make sense for the 5’10” Kyler Murray? Maybe not. I could see Tristan Wirfs ’97. Percentile-adjusted SPARQ athlete is valuable in Kinsgbury’s airstrike, but I think Wills has the best overall band and is still a good athlete, so I bet Wills will be the first OT to be designed with a odds of +450 earlier this month.

Jacksonville has a million holes to fill, and Wirfs, SPARQ athlete with 97th percentile adjustment, can easily win a tackle job or start his career as a stud guard if needed. I also think that CB C.J. Henderson would be an excellent choice here, but this would be the high-end area he is likely to go to.

In the combine I stood next to GM Andrew Berry during the interview with HC Kevin Stefanski. When Stefanski preached athletics on the line, Berry nodded in agreement. Becton, a SPARQ athlete with a 100 percentile fit, undoubtedly fits his analytical vision. The Louisville product was the highest offensive device on my Analytics Top 300 Big Board in this class.

This selection should essentially be made by Sam Darnold himself. Does he want the best offensive device available (Andrew Thomas) or his first choice with the recipient? Lamb suits the jets better than Jerry Jeudy or Henry Ruggs because it is used as an X receiver alongside the WR Jamison Crowder slot and the deep threat of Breshad Perriman. You can read my early scouting report and Lamb’s statistical analysis here.

Las Vegas added a number of random defensive players to this free agency and only added Nelson Agholor to a group of recipients “led” by Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow. Gruden will address the position early on, and Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb obviously fit together, as that would bring Williams back to his natural # 2 recipient role. You can read my early scouting report and Jeudy’s statistical evaluation here.

Broncos analysts believe Ruggs is the top recipient on their board, which is a bit brave but makes sense as a compliment to Courtland Sutton. Sutton, Fant, and Ruggs (or another early round WR) have a powerful running game and make it much easier to evaluate potential franchise quarterback Drew Lock. After the two best recipients disappear, the Broncos guarantee that they will get their husband to stop teams like the Eagles or Vikings from stealing their husband in a trade-up. You can read my early scouting report and Ruggs statistical analysis here.

Signing Tom Brady also means adding support around him, especially on the offensive line, to protect his fragile 43-year-old body. Thomas, a 71st percentile SPARQ athlete, can begin immediately after working for several seasons in the SEC.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop bet verdict: “Thomas over 10.5 total selection” at -134 odds“data-reactid =” 92 “>Prop bet verdict: “Thomas over 10.5 total selection” at -134 odds

This is an obvious connection after San Francisco sold DT DeForest Buckner to the Colts. Kinlaw needs more development, but the 49ers don’t immediately need every down player and Kinlaw is nervous enough to do damage as he grows as a player.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop Bet verdict: Ignore “Kinlaw over 13.5 total selection” at -118 odds“data-reactid =” 97 “>Prop Bet verdict: Ignore “Kinlaw over 13.5 total selection” at -118 odds

Atlanta has cleared the corner house and is probably hoping Henderson will fall on her. It’s not a perfect perspective, but it has all the qualities to be a shadow corner in the NFL. Henderson is a SPARQ athlete with a 92nd percentile and a total corner outlook for the 97th percentile.

Dallas lost several starters in defense, including sack artist Robert Quinn. Chaisson brings a lot of juice to the table as a stand-up pass rusher who can try to put away games with the Cowboys Offense that again look like one of the best in the league. Chaisson, who is only 20 years old, is number 12 on my Analytics Top 300 Big Board.

Does Jacksonville Gardner like Minshew? Absolutely. Do they like him enough not to address the position at the beginning of this draft? I’m less convinced, especially if they don’t add remarkable veterans to the free agency. It is particularly difficult for love to find a landing site much earlier, so it is possible that it will fall far beyond that. You can read my early scouting report and statistical evaluation of Love here.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop bet verdict: “Love over 17.5 total selection” with -125 chances of winning.“data-reactid =” 112 “>Prop bet verdict: “Love over 17.5 total selection” with -125 chances of winning.

This is another obvious fit, both as a player and as a personality. The Raiders are looking for Alphas to build culture in Las Vegas, and that’s Murray, even if he’s not an elite all-round player.

Miami turned to Corner and Linebacker with the free agency, but has to hook up a sure starter after the release of Reshad Jones. McKinney is just an adjusted 8th percentile SPARQ athlete, but grinders really respect how he took a lot of responsibility in Nick Saban’s defense last year. McKinney seems to be a personality that fits Brian Flores.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop bet verdict: “McKinney under 24.5 total selection” at -114 odds“data-reactid =” 122 “>Prop bet verdict: “McKinney under 24.5 total selection” at -114 odds

Philly has addressed her CB1 hole with Darius Slay, so now is the time to update this group of recipients. Jefferson was great in the LSU slot, but showed enough athleticism to fit out in the Eagles’ heavy two-TE offensive. He is just one of my favorite prospects in the class. You can read my early scouting report and Jefferson’s statistical review here.

After a mini reset this off-season, Minnesota has two blatant needs – corner and receiver. In the second half of the first round, there are a handful of options at both positions, making this an almost impossible choice to hit exactly. My best guess is Fulton, who has SPARQ athleticism with a 70th percentile adjustment and has seen a high upward trend at times. It’s just about cleaning up your game.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop Bet verdict: Ignore “Fulton under 24.5 total selection” at -110 odds“data-reactid =” 132 “>Prop Bet verdict: Ignore “Fulton under 24.5 total selection” at -110 odds

I honestly have no idea what Bill Belichick will do with this design. For the first time in some time, he has many holes to fill after a mass exodus this off-season. Gross-Matos has been productive at Penn State and has a unique style of play that depends on his long build. It is a profile that could fascinate Belichick.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop Bet verdict: Ignore “Gross-Matos under 26.5 total selection” at +103 odds“data-reactid =” 137 “>Prop Bet verdict: Ignore “Gross-Matos under 26.5 total selection” at +103 odds

The offensive appears to have ended after the signing of Emmanuel Sanders in the free agency, and there are not many gaps in the defense. Queen would be a luxury choice in the middle of the field, and he happened to win a national championship on the LSU road. Few have improved their design inventory as much as Queen in the past five months. He was an 81st percentile SPARQ athlete in the combine.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop bet verdict: “Queen over 20.5 total selection” with -136 chances of winning“data-reactid =” 142 “>Prop bet verdict: “Queen over 20.5 total selection” with -136 chances of winning

The Baylor product was a winner at the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine, where it showed the 89th percentile adjusted SPARQ athletics. Mims is not the route runner Stefon Diggs is, but he wins the downfield, which Kirk Cousins will miss most with the trade. Diggs was the most efficient receiver for targets that were more than 15 meters behind the field last season.

<p class = "Artboard-Atom Artboard-Text Mb (1.0em) Mb (0) – sm Mt (0.8em) – sm" type = "text" content = "Prop bet verdict: “Mims under 34.5 total selection” at -125 odds“data-reactid =” 147 “>Prop bet verdict: “Mims under 34.5 total selection” at -125 odds

Was Jackson an elite player at USC last year? No, but the Dolphins are not trying to win a Super Bowl in 2020. You can afford to give him development repetitions immediately. Remember Jackson is only 20 years old and showed an 89th percentile-adjusted SPARQ athleticism at the NFL Combine. Maybe he looks better in the field now after a year to recover from donating bone marrow to his sister.

Trading with Quinton Dunbar makes this less of a team requirement, but I like the team fit. Diggs has the size, weight, and arm length that Seattle has been targeting for years. If there’s one team that likes to take on a personality, it’s the Seahawks. Diggs from what I was told is a character.

San Francisco used up its day 2 picks with previous trades, so I’m not surprised if they ended up trading those picks. Right now I’m going to give them a recipient that fits their physical culture in Shenault. The view of Colorado dominates within 10 meters of the border and would be another weapon for Kyle Shanahan, the best short-range planner in the NFL.
