Kottayam: An old fish was caught and destroyed from the Dharmus Fish Hub near Kalathippadi. A total of 209 kg of herring, mackerel and squid were caught. The inspection was carried out by the Food Safety Department, Health Department and Fisheries Department. Most of the destroyed were large fish. Food safety officials said they would be fined for selling stale fish.
