2198 newly infected with COVID-19 – 18% of those tested, 1638 were cured

2198 are newly diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, which is 1044 cases more than yesterday. This is shown by the data in the National Information System.

For the last 24 hours, a total of 12167 tests were performed, of which 6121 were PCR and 6046 were with a rapid antigen test.

Thus, the total number of confirmed cases is 255,381, of which 34,237 are active.

1638 were cured during the last day, and their total number is 210 638.

The vaccinated persons are a total of 268,544, and for the last day there are 20,376.

There are 5,307 hospitalized persons, of which 440 are in the intensive care unit.

The death toll from a proven coronavirus infection is a total of 10,506. 93 of the cases are from the last 24 hours.
