22 horses escape from a merry-go-round and speed down the highway!

The inhabitants of Denderhoutem were surprised to see horses rushing through the streets of the town. 22 mounts indeed escaped from a merry-go-round around 7:15 p.m. In their mad dash, the animals raced down the highway.

Alerted, the emergency services moved to the scene. They asked residents to be careful and stay inside their homes.

The 22 horses were finally caught in a close more than 5 kilometers from the equestrian center. Fortunately, the report does not mention any injuries, although damage was caused by the passage of animals.
