From August 25, the city of Ifrane will host the 23rd universal cedar festival of short films.
An edition which will be marked, as detailed by the direction of this cinematographic event, by “the tribute which will be paid to the Moroccan director Fatima Boubekdi as well as to the two actors Aziz Dadas and Hassan Badida”. Alongside these artists, the Italian actor and director Mimmo will also be honored. “These honors will be made in recognition of their works which have given more creativity and quality to the cinematographic landscape. As for the tribute to the Italian guest, it will be paid to him for his achievements by highlighting all of his works in the seventh art., adds the same source. The management also specifies that this festival, which will continue until August 28, will schedule film screenings in addition to musical sessions led by the “Regba” troupe from Zagora. As a reminder, this event, organized by the association “Ciné-Club Enfance et Jeunesse” of Azrou, will be held this year under the theme “Cinema and cultural diplomacy”.
