6:54 p.m .: Series crashes
A Glickehaus out, and soon Dixon’s No. 3 Cadillac: aquaplaning on Porsche bends. The safety car intervenes.

6:50 p.m.: Peugeot P2!
Part of the track is wet and error awaits all drivers on “slick” tyres. At the wheel of the Peugeot 9×8, Menezes makes a festival and passes the Porsche 38, the Ferrari n°51 for P2! The Cadillac n°2 has stopped and only the Ferrari is in front.

6:38 p.m .: Peugeot is there too
The Toyota n°7 and the Porsche n°6 are in the pits. And behind the leading Toyota n°8, it is the Peugeot n°93 which appears in 2nd place.
6:20 p.m.: Toyota back in the lead
Buemi finds P1, but complains about his brakes.
6:19 p.m .: Leclerc dreams of Le Mans

6:11 p.m .: Porsche in the lead
The Cadillac n°2 of Bamber in front of his garage: here is the Porsche n°5 in the lead in front of the n°75.
5:53 p.m .: Repair for Bourdais
Cadillac returns n°3 to the garage, Bourdais gets out of his V. Series.R. to repair. A suspension problem? But number 2 still stands out.
5:47 p.m. New incidents
Bourdais’ Cadillac in 360°, obviously following a contact, and a new accident at the first chicane: the AF Corse Ferrari n°21 hit hard. Bourdais returns in slow motion.
5:42 p.m .: Toyota in the pits, Ferrari in the lead then Cadillac
Toyota recalls the n°8 and the n°7, Porsche the n°6 and Peugeot the n°94. Ferrari n°51 is back in the lead, but not for long since it is also heading for the pit lane. The No. 2 Cadillac points to P1 ahead of the No. 5 and No. 75 Porsches.

Debris at the Tertre Rouge exit: Taylor hit hard with the #13 Tower Motorsports LMP2. Slow zone.
5:31 p.m .: Strategic move at Ferrari and Cadillac
Ferrari and Cadillac take advantage of the slow zone in the pit portion to bring in the n°50 and the n°3. The V.Series.R leaves before the 499P.
5:27 p.m .: Crash of LMP2 n°14
The #14 LMP2 driver lost control on arriving at the 1st chicane and hit hard. The Oreca now only has three wheels. Slow zone.

While Bourdais (Cadilac n°3) hunts the leading Ferrari n°50, Conway (Toyota n°7) swallows the Porsche n°38 and n°5 for P7. The #51 Ferrari (P4) leads a compact group, under pressure from the #2 Cadillac, #6 Porsche, #7 Toyota and #75 Porsche.
5:17 p.m .: Balet of supplies
Ferrari recalls the n°51 to the pit, and yields P1 to the n°50 of Nielsen. Three Porsches on the stand: No. 6 and 5 at Penske and No. 38 at Jota.
5:13 p.m .: Toyota hands over control to Ferrari
At Toyota, the turn of Buemi’s n°8 to return. The n°51 Ferrari found itself in the lead while Peugeot refueled the n°94 of Müller and Cadillac did the same with the n°3 of Bourdais.
5:12 p.m .: The Porsches in a fight
It’s hot in the traffic between the Porsches n°6 and 5.
5 p.m.: The Hypercar classification
Like Ferrari, Toyota shifts strategies and brings in Conway’s n°7.

4:56 p.m .: Ferrari attacks again
It was Calado’s turn (Ferrari n°51) to launch the assault, on Conway’s Toyota n°7. The Briton moved into 2nd position.
16h53 : L’offensive Ferrari
The Ferrari 499Ps are hot, and Nielsen’s #50 finds the opening behind Conway’s #7 Toyota for P2. But, surprise, Nielsen immediately returns to the pits. The Toyota n°8 therefore leads in front of the Ferrari n°51, the Toyota n°7 and the Porsche 963 n°75, 6 and 5.
At over 300km/h, it’s a battle between Ferrari and Toyota for 2nd place
4:43 p.m .: Toyotas in the lead
While Buemi (Toyota n°8) leads, Conway (Toyota n°7) passes Nielsen (Ferrari n°50) for P2, before Indianapolis. The Toyota GR010s are quick at top speed.
4:41 p.m.: The race resumes
Back to action after nearly 35 minutes of neutralization. The #8 Toyota (Buemi) leads ahead of the #50 Ferrari (Nielsen), #7 Toyota (Conway), #51 Ferrari (Calado) and #75 Porsche (Nasr).
4:40 p.m.: End of the neutralization procedure
The neutralization follows its course, with several successive phases, including the regrouping behind the safety car and a reorganization according to the categories: the Hypercar in front of the LMP2 and the GT. The race will start again soon.
4:03 p.m. Toyota completes the 1st lap in the lead
The n°8 Toyota overtook the n°50 Ferrari and took the lead at Indianapolis, before the end of the first lap. Safety car on the track: repair needed at the 1st Mulsanne chicane, where the Cadillac hit, and the LMP2 n°32 is in a gravel trap. The Ferrari n°51 in difficulty Calado, on the Ferrari n°51, accelerates with difficulty at the exit of the 1st chicane and the Toyotas n°8 and 7 pass P2 and P3.

4:00 p.m.: Let’s go for 24 Hours!
LeBron James waves the French flag, the start is given! Nielsen took the lead at the first chicane at the wheel of the #50 Ferrari 499P, ahead of Calado’s #51 sister car. The Toyota GR010 n°8 and 7 follow. The n°75 Porsche 963, driven by Nasr, comes into contact with the n°8 Toyota but gives up its place. Aitken hit hard on the #311 Action Express Racing Cadillac. He returns with a damaged car. Open front axle.

Contrasting grip on the circuit: it’s dry on most of the route but the bitumen remains wet in the Hunaudières.
3:50 p.m.: Ready for departure
The last team members and observers have left the grid. Only the machines remain, with the pilots who will take the start. Tom Kristensen, Grand Marshal, will lead the peloton in the formation lap before the start. “Pilots, start your engines!”exclaimed LeBron James.
3:35 p.m.: The Marseillaise sounds
The national anthem is given on the Circuit de la Sarthe, a highlight for the public and the French drivers involved.
3:13 p.m.: Leclerc visits
Formula 1 is taking a break this weekend, and Charles Leclerc, driver of Scuderia Ferrari, took the opportunity to come and support his colleagues from AF Corse. The Monegasque wants to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans one day.

12:40 p.m.: End of warm-up, Ferrari still ahead
Started late, the warm-up ended around 12:30 p.m. A simple session to run the machines, the session was still dominated by the Ferraris. The 51 set the best time in 3’30″113 ahead of the Ferrari n°20 (+2″846).
The Peugeot n°94 finished 3rd on the wire (+4″754) ahead of the two Toyota n°7 (+7″340) and n°8 (+7″503).
