7 LOOKS FOR 7 DAYS: SUSTAINABILITY – Martina Berg

Today, 7 looks for 7 days is absolutely geared towards sustainability. Today there are no new looks, on the contrary. I’ve done some shopping in my own closet again. I’ll show you how many beautiful outfits are in your closet.

Many new readers have discovered my blog for themselves in the last few weeks – I’m really happy about that. I would like to recommend that you try out more combinations with your existing wardrobe and not always wear the same thing. Combines jeans with a smart blouse and a blazer, for example. The chic black trousers can certainly be combined with a casual knitted coat. Be brave and take today’s suggestions and combine my looks with the wardrobe you have in your closet. You will find out how many new looks you can combine.

MONTAG

A monochrome look can be transformed into a chic outfit with color. If you don’t like wearing black that much, you can create monochrome looks with dark blue, brown or grey. You can combine pink, creamy white or rosé with all of these colors as an accessory.

TUESDAY

I’m incredibly fond of knitwear this season. That’s why I have five knitted dresses in the meantime. One of my favorite knit dresses is the light blue one. Whether with a blazer or a leather jacket, a knitted dress can be combined in many ways, both in a business outfit and for smart casual wear.

  • Some time ago I put together more styling tips on the subject of knitted dresses in a blog post – for you to read CLICK HERE

WEDNESDAY

A pantsuit should not be missing in any wardrobe. And for a very simple reason: You can combine the blazer and trousers with many other items of clothing. The blazer goes just as well with jeans as with a skirt. You can combine the pants with a sweater just as well as with a knitted coat or a leather jacket. Be brave and try it with your pant suit.

THURSDAY

Everyone likes shades of blue. Blue is the most popular color worldwide. If you have a stressful job or an important meeting, go for blue with your outfit. You have definitely created a better atmosphere with this. You probably have blue clothes in your closet. Combine them together and you will create an interesting look with them. With the right accessories you round off a tone-in-tone look perfectly.

FREITAG

Having the courage to wear a hat is part of wearing a red hat. I know not every lady is so brave and wears a hat and certainly not a red one. But I want to encourage you to stand out from the crowd. Of course, the hat should match the shape of your face and your outfit. A combination of red, black and white is always a guarantee for an effective appearance.

If you want to know which hat shape looks good on you, read my previous blog post on the topic of HAT – CLICK HERE

SATURDAY

The perfect city look to start the weekend. The cozy sweater is combined with a blue knitted coat. The nice thing is that knitwear comes in different strengths. Above all, I’m a fan of cashmere. I combine fake fur leather pants in brown with blue tones in the top. A color combination that I rediscovered for myself when I was shopping through my closet.

SUNDAY

Jeans should not be missing in any wardrobe. I’m sure you have some of these hanging in your closet. I have about 15 pairs of jeans in my closet, in just about every color imaginable. I don’t know myself why I have so many jeans but wear them so seldom.

Outfit inspiration for a week

With these uncomplicated and wearable outfits, you’ll be out and about in style for a whole week. Put my outfits together with your existing wardrobe in similar looks. This way you can be sure that you will never again stand in front of a full wardrobe and not know what to wear today.

Shopping in your own closet is cheap, fun and makes a small contribution to sustainability. So, go ahead and combine your looks for the new week. I guarantee some will ask you, “Is what you’re wearing today new?”

  • Which look is your favorite in February?
  • How many of the featured outfits can you recreate?
  • Do you look at my videos on the blog or on Instagram?
