But how does he practically never make a mistake? ” Statistics ! he says. In addition to calculations, Geri is equipped with weather radar and a windmill made from an old child’s bicycle wheel. Every day, in a notebook, the budding meteorologist writes down the information provided by his installations. He then waits for L’Épiphanie to share his predictions: “I can’t tell you everything, but at L’Épiphanie, I know everything I need to know for the following year. Every year, it’s 75% correct”.
However, his forecast only concerns the municipality of Koekelare: “Next week, the weather will be the same as this week. June will be sunny, and July will be bad,” he predicts.
