Images circulating on social media show Reyanne, a 15-year-old student, being beaten by one of her classmates. Around, we can see many schoolchildren gathering to film the scene, without anyone intervening to help the young man. An investigation was opened by the police following this incident. Apart from a few bruises, Reyanne got out of it but obviously remains deeply shocked by the events.
“The board of directors, the management and all the members of the college staff deeply regret what happened,” reacted the college to TV Oost. “We totally disapprove of this fight and firmly distance ourselves from any form of violence. We will continue to follow up and handle this matter properly and correctively.”
