A resident of Haut Doubs, located in the Jura massif in eastern France, is suspected of having hidden some of his income! According to France Bleue, he would have made several million euros in profits by reselling housing without declaring these capital gains to the tax services.
But bad luck for him, his eyes were bigger than his stomach, and his new lifestyle betrayed him!
He is a 32-year-old man, beneficiary of the RSA (an active solidarity income). While he is supposed to have a more modest lifestyle, the man posted on social networks his brand clothes, his jewelry and his luxury cars.
After a report, an investigation was opened. At the head of his real estate company, he would have bought properties to sell them once renovated and make big profits given the market price and the proximity to Switzerland. But without declaring anything!
The gendarmes therefore raided his home and seized a new Lamborghini worth 265,000 euros and a Mercedes C65 worth 50,000 euros. He even had a Ferrari on order. He also had many objects, clothes and jewelry for a total value of 50,000 euros.
Arrested, the man disputes the facts. The investigation is ongoing.
