The Galician emergency services said on Twitter that they had recovered the lifeless bodies of two passengers. Two other people, including the bus driver, were rescued and hospitalized.

Several Spanish media report three people missing. Authorities were not immediately available to confirm this information.
The accident occurred on Saturday evening, on Christmas Eve, in the town of Cerdedo-Cotobade, located not far from Vigo, near the border with Portugal.
According to the regional daily La Voz de Galicia, the bus was bringing back a group of people who had come to visit relatives detained at the Monterroso prison center in central Galicia.
