Al-Marsad newspaper: Prince Turki bin Talal, the governor of the Asir region, witnessed the pardon of citizens for the murderer of their father, and a father for the murderer of his only son, for the sake of God, for nothing in return.
During a meeting held at the General Council in the emirate’s court, the citizens announced an amnesty for the killer of their late father, Nabil bin Muhammad Al-Adwani.
The citizen Hussain bin Saeed Al-Shahrani also waived the killer of his only son for the sake of God Almighty, in response to the prince’s intercession.
For his part, Prince Turki bin Talal praised the concessions made by the citizens, and said: “Your position raised all of our heads… may God whiten your faces.”
The meeting included a tribal conciliation over a decades-old dispute in the Al-Aws tribe with Rijal Almaa.
The Prince expressed his happiness with this reconciliation, saying, “Your position makes us all happy.”
