The Zebras did not have an easy meeting against the red lantern, but they ended up winning their case, at the cost of a big effort in the last half hour. “There is a lot of pride after this victory”, insists Edward Still at the microphone ofEleven Sports.
“We can be proud!”
“Because we came here without three executives (Morioka, Gholizadeh and Van Cleemput), because we lost Loïc Bessilé and Hervé Koffi to injuries, because we conceded goals on game facts that we have poorly controlled and because we had the strength of character and the resilience not to panic.
After the second Antwerp goal, scored by Joren Dom, the Zebras had the reaction they needed to reverse the trend and go ahead and that’s what Edward Still wants to highlight at the end of this meeting. “After the second goal, we were able to stabilize and react in a positive way. We can be proud of that and it will give us a collective reference for the end of the season.”
