The occupants of the house were awakened by four men armed with a crowbar standing at their bedside. The robbers hit the couple’s man before fleeing with one of the two cars.
The house was being renovated and the couple had sold a sash window that day. The house was therefore not securely locked. During the night, four men entered the property, armed with a crowbar.
The occupants of the house were awakened when the robbers demanded the keys to their two cars. The thieves, however, failed to get the first one started and fled with the other. A little further on, they hit a speed bump and fled on foot.
An investigation has been opened.
