A lady was stabbed in the middle of the street in Jambes (Namur), this Friday around 2:30 p.m. The facts, reported by L’Avenir, took place on rue de Dave, very close to the former barracks of the Engineers.
A priori, an argument broke out between a man and a woman who were walking on the sidewalk. Challenged by these noisy exchanges, three people living at number 325A came out: a lady, a man and a young man. They would have tried to calm the spirits.
The couple would then have pretended to leave in the direction of the center of Legs, but the man turned around and came to stab the resident of 325A in the upper thigh. He fled running with his companion, leaving his victim bleeding and on the ground.
The Namur police intervened, as did an ambulance, which took the injured lady away. The latter, after being treated, was able to return home in the evening.
The investigation continues to try to identify the author of the stab wound. The police will analyze the images from the surveillance cameras.
