A hare dyes eggs at Epicenter+ on Sunday, April 21 – 2024-04-21 10:56:31

The new tale of A. Papamarkou “The Hare painted the eggs” a puppet show with actors and live music for children 2 to 9 years old will be presented at Epikentro+ on Sunday, April 21. It is a fairy tale inspired by the custom of the Easter bunny, which comes to us from the traditions of the peoples of Northern Europe.

Osterhaze, as the hare with the colored eggs is called, was loved in our country by young and old alike because it is a beautiful custom that touches the child’s soul: it brings everyone gifts and sweets, it brings joy, play and love. Who can deny such beautiful gifts and qualities?

From a purely folklore point of view, both the hare and the egg are symbols of fertility and rebirth-resurrection and together they created the complex of the “hare-ovum” which is integral to the spring festival of Easter.

THE PUPPET THEATER

Our Hare lives in a black and white world that looks like a snowy landscape. He really likes to draw. With his gray pencils he beautifies his black and white world. How will colors enter the life of our hare?
THE PARTICIPATION OF CHILDREN

Children, throughout the performance, will have the opportunity to participate. They will dance, sing and play roles.

In the end they play a wonderful sensory puzzle: they intervene in the setting – black and white world of the hare and make it colorful.
