a hypnotized spectator is injured and must be evacuated by the fire brigade, “we take this very seriously”

Everyone knows Messmer. The famous Quebec hypnotist, made famous by his numerous appearances on French television, performed on a stage in Laval this Sunday, May 22. As he is used to, the artist performed his numbers and notably brought spectators up on stage.

As La Voix du Nord explains, one of the men unfortunately did not pay attention to the visual warnings drawn on the ground to avoid falls. Hypnotized and taking himself for one of the guitarists of the rock group Kiss, the spectator fell and injured himself quite seriously: broken left collarbone and sprained right wrist.

He even had to be evacuated by the firefighters and the show continued. Trained as a musician, he is now asking for financial compensation from the production. Contacted by France Bleu, the production ensures that this is the first time that such an accident has occurred. “We take it very seriously and are in contact with the injured spectator,” she says. Messmer himself should hear from him soon.
