It partially crushed the stand of the exhibitor “Fedemot” which participated in the “Retrouvailles 2022” show, the meeting place for amateurs in search of active and quality leisure which brings together, each year, nearly 30,0000 people in the park of the Boverie, between the Meuse and the Derivation. “The accident occurred on the Boverie side, between the aviary and the corner of the Palais des Congrès”, specifies the Liège police.
At the time of the accident, it seems that about ten people were under this stand.
“A poplar branch fell on a stand during the Retrouvailles event, around 2 p.m.”, details the Liège police, via its press service. “A lady and a teenager were injured and taken to hospital. The teenager is slightly injured. The lady is, for her part, more seriously affected but her life is not in danger.
