A leading actor in the series “Emergencies” has died

Bad news for fans ofEmergency room. The cult medical series of the 90s has just lost one of its own. John Aylward, interpreter of surgeon Donald Anspaugh, died on Friday at the age of 75. News confirmed by his agent Mitchell K. Stubbs on the American site Deadline: “I am in shock, he was a great actor and a phenomenal person.”

During his career, the actor has often juggled between cinema and television. His appearances on the big screen are numerous, three fugitives to Gangster Squad Passing by Visitors to America or Some water for the elephants. On television, in addition to his role in Emergency room which remains the most striking, John Aylward played in Nip/Tuck, New York, judicial police, Alias, X-Files or Cold Case: Closed Cases.
