As is well known, the SPÖ recently had no luck with member surveys. However, the next membership decision is likely to be smoother than the election of Andreas Babler as federal party chairman. Although the stage isn’t lit yet, because hardly anyone is talking regarding the forthcoming autumn election for the district party chairman of the Linz SPÖ. This seems to be intentional, because following the decision of the board on June 12th, the election was announced rather hidden on the website.
