The head of the region is at the head of a new negotiating delegation in Baghdad to discuss the outstanding issues between the two governments. The negotiating fuel will hold a series of meetings that began with the three presidencies and ends with the heads of the political blocs. Representatives confirmed that the relationship between the center and the region is in the best condition during this period.
While expectations indicate that the Kurdish delegation is trying to put pressure on the central government to increase the region’s share in the budget, in addition to amending the oil and gas law in line with Erbil’s wishes, at a time when deputies are calling for the central government not to comply with the demands of the Kurdish negotiating delegation.
