Yet another shooting took place this Wednesday, around 6:15 p.m., on the public highway, in Koekelberg, near Simonis. According to our information, we deplore two male victims by bullet(s), but we do not know at this stage if their lives are in danger.
“Investigation is underway”!
The Peugeot 208 aboard which the shooter fled was found near the Victor Horta site of the CHU Brugmann (see illustration). The local police have set up a security perimeter all around and, at the time of writing these lines, the scientific laboratory of the federal police was busy collecting clues on the spot.
Questioned, the spokesperson for the Brussels West police, Commissioner Jean-Marc Goessens, indicates that “the investigation is underway”!
