The fire broke out around 8 am Wednesday morning, rue Armand Michaud in Jupille. When the firefighters arrived, a person was stuck in the building. She was evacuated by the firefighters. The Liège public prosecutor’s office indicates on Thursday that the victim’s vital prognosis is engaged.
According to the first elements of the investigation, it is an arson. Indeed, two separate hearths were discovered in the dwelling. Two people were arrested.
According to Sudpresse, neighbors would have been alerted by an argument Wednesday before the fire. Also according to Sudpresse, the alleged perpetrators are the brother, who also lived there, and the sister of the victim.
