Doctor from Ufa, manager of the clinic “Biomedicina” Roman Gelfand explained the principle of work of vaccines from coronavirus in his Facebook… He claims that no drug causes any form of covid disease.

According to Roman Gelfand, only the old vaccines, which included weakened pathogens, caused the patient to have mild or asymptomatic illness for further development of immunity. Modern vaccinations work differently and do not cause coronavirus, since they do not contain a living pathogen capable of reproduction. Sputnik V, AstraZeneca and other vector vaccines use an adenovirus – it has a built-in coronavirus spike protein. “The idea is to introduce into the body a harmless carrier with an implanted fragment of a pathogen and force the immune system to develop antibodies to this pathogen,” the expert said.

According to Gelfand, 30% of patients vaccinated with vector vaccines have adverse reactions that resemble those of a cold or flu. This is how the immune system reacts to the spike protein. Roman Gelfand explained the incidence of covid after vaccination in a prosaic way: most likely, the patient became infected shortly before vaccination or during it while standing in line at the vaccination room. He clarified that strong immunity to coronavirus is developed 2-3 weeks after vaccination with two components. Until that time, infection cannot be ruled out, although the probability is low.
