A pony for Helena | Free press

Olaf, the funny snowman from the animated films about the ice queen is visiting the Ore Mountains. Sonja and Frieder Horlacher built the funny guy in Lippersdorf as a winter greeting for their grandchildren Carrie and Cassy in Hilbersdorf and Leo and Tom in Mauersberg. They have not been able to visit their grandparents for a long time due to the lockdown and were happy about the photo, reports Katy Riedel from Hilbersdorf (left). Three-year-old Helena’s wish came true in Marienberg: Her father Frank Schubert created a snow horse with eyes made of pine cones for her on the terrace (top right). The snow couple Karlheinz and Tina was created on Rathausstrasse in Pockau. Franziska and René Leschnig and their children Emelie and Eric had a lot of fun molding. Tina’s full head of hair consists of the dried flowers of a hydrangea (bottom center). The curious onlookers will see what is going on in Grünhainichen. It was put together by Hendrik Stanzel (bottom right). (mb)
