A rocking chair that is ‘too much’

The mix of textures, materials and colors of this rocking chair has the unmistakable stamp of its designers: the Masquespacio creative studio. Founded in Valencia by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse, its interior design projects have been a revelation in recent years, duly recognized and awarded. During confinement, Ana and Christophe have found the perfect occasion to give the final impetus to a project they have long had in mind: to market their own furniture and object designs. And with the same energy that characterizes its interiors, the brand is already on the market. It’s called Mas Creations, and this rocking chair is one of her first proposals, made in collaboration with local artisans. Its geometric structure is made of stainless steel, the round cushion and rollers are upholstered in velvet, and the striped areas arise from the combination of two natural stones, Blue Macaubas quartzite and Black Devonian marble. Not surprisingly, the piece is called Too Much (too much in English). www.mas-creations.com.
