President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi directed the crystallization of incentive packages for doctors and the development of a financial system that would improve the doctor’s income and improve their work environment, especially in rare medical specialties, while granting special privileges to doctors working in remote governorates, as well as modifying the entire system of assigning doctors.

This came during President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s meeting today, Thursday, with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Acting Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs.

Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the meeting dealt with “following up the executive position of a number of presidential initiatives in the sectors of health care for citizens, universities and scientific research.”

The meeting witnessed the presentation of the epidemiological situation of the Corona virus at the level of the Republic, as well as the rate of receiving vaccinations, which is currently available from additional doses of vaccines.

The results of the implementation of the various presidential initiatives within the framework of the state’s efforts to improve public health, under the umbrella of “100 million health care”, and what its goals have been achieved at the level of the Republic, especially with regard to treating Hepatitis C, supporting the health of Egyptian women, and the judiciary were also reviewed. On the waiting lists of critical cases, through which about one million and 200 thousand surgeries were performed in various delicate and urgent specialties, at a total cost of 11 billion and 600 million pounds, through 477 hospitals across all governorates of the Republic, which made the World Health Organization praise The direct impact and impact of this initiative on improving the health and economic conditions of Egyptian families.
