Super Mario CGI production is going well
According to the Games Radar site which takes its information from the document Corporate Management Policy Briefing, production of the new Super Mario movie is going very well. As a reminder, this is a Toy Story-style CG movie rather than Sonic (which mixes the two). It is produced by the Illumination studio, the one that gave us Despicable Me and the Minions, among others.
The other good news is that Nintendo confirms that the creator of the character in overalls, Shigeru Miyamoto, is indeed involved in the feature film as a co-producer.
But that’s not all, the document also indicates that Nintendo (which finances the film with Universal), could expand “(its) offer of audiovisual content beyond the cinema. ”Without further details. The return of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show?
