Madrid, Jan 23 (EFE) .- A motorcyclist in his 40s has been seriously injured when he lost control of his motorcycle tonight when he was driving down Madrid’s Príncipe de Vergara street at its confluence with Francisco Silvela’s.
A spokesperson for Emergencias Madrid has informed Efe that the accident occurred at around 10:40 p.m. when, for reasons investigated by the Municipal Police, the motorcyclist has lost control, crossed an island, started a traffic light and was fired from the motorcycle some 20 meters.
A couple from the Civil Guard who were passing by has been alerted by witnesses and they have treated the motorist in the first place, until the arrival of the assistance of Samur-Civil Protection.
The motorcyclist has suffered a severe head and thoracic trauma and after being stabilized and intubated by the assistants, he was taken in very serious condition to La Paz Hospital.
