The Brussels Midi police were called this Monday, around 2:30 p.m., for a fight that turned into an attempted murder at the basketball court in Place Morichar, in Saint-Gilles. The victim is a young man who would be 17 years old and would have received no less than two stab wounds in the chest. Two suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.

Questioned, the spokesperson for the Brussels Midi police, Sarah Frederickx confirms the information: “There was a fight between a group of young people at the basketball court in Place Morichar, in Saint-Gilles, and at one point there was a boy who was stabbed. The victim was taken to hospital. His days are endangered. The federal police scientific laboratory is expected on site. Our police have made several arrests. The investigation is ongoing. »
