ABC interview with Baldwin about Halyna Hutchins death

NAfter the fatal shot in a western filming, Hollywood star Alec Baldwin (63) spoke about the incident in an interview with the ABC broadcaster. The one-hour interview should be broadcast on Thursday evening (local time). The transmitter published just under two minutes from the conversation on Wednesdayin which Baldwin also bursts into tears.

The camerawoman Halyna Hutchins (42), who was killed in the incident, was loved and admired by everyone, said the actor and producer to presenter George Stephanopoulos. He still couldn’t believe that this happened.

While shooting the western “Rust” on a film ranch in Santa Fe (New Mexico), Hutchins was fatally injured on October 21 and director Joel Souza (48) was hit in the shoulder. Leading actor Baldwin had used the gun for a scene during the rehearsal.

In the interview excerpt, Baldwin asserted that he had not pulled the trigger. He would never point a gun at a person and pull the trigger. He had “no idea” how the live ammunition found its way into the weapon. Someone must have loaded the gun with live ammunition. There was no explanation for the killing shot in the almost two-minute video.

The ongoing investigation revealed that there was a real bullet in the Colt. The police are currently investigating how this could happen.
