Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi has been named the safest city in the world for the sixth time. Sharjah is in fourth place.

Dubai finished eighth. For the sixth time in a row, Abu Dhabi has topped the 2022 security index of global database company Nambio. The survey was based on quality of life, safety, crime rate, quality healthcare and consumer prices.

Abu Dhabi topped the Safety Index of 459 cities with 88.4 points.

Abu Dhabi has become the safest city in terms of crime, fear of robbery and low drug use. Safety when walking alone is also paramount. The report notes that Abu Dhabi is best suited for safe living, working and investing.

In Gallup’s 2021 Global Law and Order Report, 95% of residents favored national security.

Abu Dhabi Police Commander-in-Chief Major General Faris Khalaf Al Masroui praised the UAE authorities for prioritizing the safety of the people.
