Abundantly – You are much more than what you think you are today. This is the title that Felipe López from Manizales has given to his first book.

It is a work that seems to be self-help, but that really has more to do with the way in which we must understand the world in order to assume it in a better way and be able to fulfill the things that we set out to do. Felipe describes himself as passionate about research on happiness and its application in business and in everyday life.

If someone believes that by reading these pages they will find the key to becoming a millionaire, they can avoid reading them at once, because what it is about is how to be abundant from the good decisions that are made in life for a better life. wellness. We talk to the author and he gives us clues as to why we should read it to better understand what he means and to better understand how we make decisions and how they affect us in our future.

what is abundance

– States that this is not a book with the formula to become a millionaire or attract positive things with the power of the mind. So what is abundance, according to Felipe López?

Abundance is learning to connect with the sources that allow us to have a life with meaning and well-being. If what you have accumulated (money, people, relationships, friends) does not bring you well-being and happiness, then it is not abundance. Abundance is also learning to disconnect from some links that no longer nourish you and wear out your life. Abundance is connection and prosperity, accumulation.

– Although it is not so explicit, it is obvious that this is a story of your learning in different ways. Why tell that process?

Because the only way to talk about something is when you are the example. I consider myself an abundant person, with the ability to connect and disconnect. Therefore, my story becomes the appropriate metaphor to convey what is achieved, when connected to an abundant mind.

– Emphasizes the danger of the ego, and also its power. How does the ego play a key role in the way each one perceives the world?

The ego has only one goal: to help us survive. Surviving is important, but not all of life. We must learn to survive in what is necessary, but transcend in life. A balance must be struck between survival and the ability to go beyond our mental limits and social constructions installed in our mind/ego. The ego is not our enemy, only sometimes we must heal it. The same as the body. The body is not our enemy, but if it is not healthy, it makes us have a complex life. The healthier the ego and the body, the better our life is.

to break the cycles

– We have all gone through stages of scarcity, but some fall back on it. What is the advice to get out of there?

Break the cycles through the opening of the mind and the reconfiguration of it. Cycles are due to closed minds that are not willing to open up to new information. Observing the mind, from consciousness, allows us to see what makes us relapse, to transform it.

– It would be foolish of me to say that the coach They don’t help many people, but it’s equally true that there are a lot of snakes in this role. For an unbeliever, like me, how to differentiate the one who contributes something to others, from the one who barely tells the story?

The book is reallyon more written from science and studies in happiness and well-being. The coaching It has given me tools to have a higher level of consciousness, and this has allowed me to use tools in my life that have connected me with a greater meaning and a life with more well-being. I am grateful for what he coaching It has given me, however, I wanted to give the book a sustenance with studies, in order to understand that the end of abundance must be the happiness and well-being of those who acquire it. there is certainly coaches that they can do things that are not so healing, however not beinI who can judge them. I seek to give the best of myselfinthrough my example and my results.

– If I loved something, it is the value it gives to gratitude, I firmly believe in it. How does gratitude bring us to abundance?

Gratitude to you for taking the time to honor me with your reading. Gratitude is what allows us to realize that we are already abundant. Already with what we are and have, we are supremely abundant. That is the first starting point to recognize what we are and how wonderful it is to be able to live.

– Another theme in which the book is recurrent is that happiness is very far from success. When asked what I do to achieve happiness, what is the answer Felipe offers?

I could say that more than Felipe, science has advanced a lot in studies of happiness and well-being. I humbly offer in a simple way, what science reveals about the areas in which we must focus to have lives with greater well-being. The scientific theory that has the best results in terms of health, productivity, meaning of life, relationships with people, is Permaby Martin Seligman. Comparative studies have been done with two other positions of happiness (hedonistic and Eudaimonic), and it is the one that has the best results.
