Last year’s semi-finalist AC Milan missed out on an opening win in the Champions League despite a dominant performance. The 19-time Italian champions only managed a 0-0 draw in the strong Dortmund Group F home game against Newcastle United on Tuesday after a miserable conversion of chances. BVB will only play against France’s series champions Paris St. Germain late in the evening (9 p.m./Prime Video).
Milan had several great chances, especially in the first half, but missed them. The English, financially supported by Saudi Arabia, remained harmless in their first game in the premier class in 20 years. National player Malick Thiaw played in central defense for the home team, who recently suffered a 5-1 defeat against city rivals Inter in the “Derby della Madonnina”.
