The reinstatement of a teacher divides the Council of State
While the DIP advocated dismissing the civil servant accused of having made a Nazi salute in class, the cantonal executive chose to have her return to her post.

The Cicad had reported the facts in its 2020 report: a teacher from a Geneva public establishment allegedly shouted “Heil Hitler” and gave a Nazi salute to calm her class. The French-speaking site blick.ch announced Wednesday that after a year of suspension, the official had been reinstated in her post, at the Drize orientation cycle, in Carouge, last March.
