Chosun University Hospital announced on the 12th that it has obtained the highest grade in the 4th adequacy evaluation, which is conducting an adequacy evaluation of coronary artery bypass surgery to ensure that patients with ischemic heart disease can receive safe and high-quality medical services.

Meanwhile, this 4th adequacy evaluation was conducted at tertiary general hospitals and general hospitals (80 locations, 3,505 patients) that performed coronary artery bypass surgery on patients hospitalized for ischemic heart disease from October 2015 to September 2016.
The evaluation indicators were ▲(treatment volume) number of coronary artery bypass surgery cases ▲(treatment process) ratio of internal thoracic artery use during surgery ▲ aspirin prescription rate at discharge ▲(treatment result) ratio of reoperation due to complications (bleeding, hematoma) after surgery, within 30 days after surgery Mortality and hospitalization days after surgery.
