SEOUL, Jan. 15 (Yonhap) – Samsung Electronics Co. unveiled and launched the Galaxy Buds Pro wireless earbuds this Friday during the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event.
The new in-ear headphones first feature an improvement in the quality of phone calls.
Three microphones and a voice processing unit (VPU) separate the user’s voice from unnecessary sounds for improved sound quality.
Galaxy Buds Pro also feature windshield technologies for the first time in the Buds series. These technologies ensure good quality phone calls even outdoors when the wind is blowing very hard.
Samsung’s new headphones also offer an active noise reduction feature that reduces surrounding sounds to a maximum of 99%.
As soon as the user speaks, the volume of the music drops and the headphones are automatically put into listening mode for surrounding sounds.
Galaxy Buds Pro are available in three colors: Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, and Phantom Violet. They are sold in South Korea for 239,800 won ($ 218.7).
