All Elite Wrestling Dynamite #59
Ort: Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, USA
Date: 18th November 2020
Jim Ross welcomes us to today’s event before the first match starts:
Non-Title Tag Team Match
The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) won against Top Flight (Darius & Daunte Martin) via pin from Matt to Daunte after the BTE trigger.
Match time: 08:57
Jack Evans and Angelico attack Top Flight after the match, the Young Bucks make the save.
The matchcard for the rest of the evening is checked.
The Inner Circle has arrived in Las Vegas. We see how MJF does not necessarily go down very well with the other members. Wardlow and Jake Hager deliver their Staring Contest, Chris Jericho and MJF want to outdo each other when it comes to ordering alcohol. The alcohol seems to gradually solve most of the problems, only Wardlow and Hager take turns beating up random people. To be continued …
Jon Moxley can be seen in a recorded video message. He says that his father is the reason for his success. If you made a mistake, there was a bell and it was built like a brick wall. And now he is at a point where he can hardly get up, has a pregnant woman at home, holds two titles on two continents. But as his father always said, he’s the good one. And so he’ll sign the contract, look Kenny Omega in the eye, and shake his hand. Because he’s his father’s son, he’s Jon ******* Moxley. And that will never end.
Orange Cassidy won against “Superbad” Kip Sabian (w / Penelope Ford) via pin in the Mousetrap.
Match time: 11:05
– The Best Man Miro sat at the commentator’s desk during the match. After the match, he and Sabian attack Cassidy before the best friends make the save.
We come to the signing of the contract between “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. Moxley doesn’t come out to his music, instead they switch backstage, where Moxley is knocked out on the floor. Omega doesn’t have much to say, signs the contract and hopes that Moxley will at least be there when the match takes place.
We see scenes from Vegas again where a drunk Chris Jericho hyped the Inner Circle and they met an Elvis actor who they cheer. MJF says they would all be like blood brothers to him. Guevara wants to establish real blood brotherhood and pulls out a knife, but he is prevented from any actions by the other members. Instead, they all howl together like the wolf pack for what they are.
The next morning the Inner Circle wakes up hungover, Guevara was in a pool, MJF in the bathtub and Jericho in bed next to Elvis. Guevara must have smeared MJF on the face with marker pen and married three women. Ortiz is already exercising while Santana is feeding the chicken in the lobby. The segment ends with a weeping Dylan Postl (fka. Hornswoggle) sitting in a diaper. Jericho calls out to his group that they have a problem.
Jericho sits with the commentators and says he still has a fat head. They’ll be back next week, because then Jericho and Jake Hager will meet SCU (Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels).
Eddie Kingston sits with the commentators for the following match:
“The Bastard” PAC won against The Blade (w / The Butcher & The Bunny) via submission in the Brutalizer.
Match time: 11:21
– The Butcher intervened while PAC was outside and the referee was distracted.
PAC grabs a microphone and speaks to Eddie Kingston, but is attacked from behind by the butcher. He, The Blade and Kingston use their numerical superiority before Rey Fénix attacks the three. But even he has no chance against the three men. Kingston’s “family” seems to be slowly falling apart. Penta del Zero M comes into the ring with a chair. The path is cleared for an attack on Fénix, but he would rather use the chair against Kingston. PAC, Fénix and Penta end up in the ring, while the other three men run away.
Again something is going on backstage, the newest signing of the women’s division, Jade Cargill, attacked Brandi Rhodes with a chair and injured her arm. She is scared away by several officials and Big Swole.
NWA Women’s World Championship
Serena Deeb won against Thunder Rosa via pin after a styles clash.
Match time: 13:12
– after a good ten minutes Rebel / Reba came out and distracted the referee, whereupon Dr. Britt Baker Thunder Rosa attacked. A subsequent pin attempt after a power bomb only went up to 2.
After the match, Rosa beats Baker wildly and has to be held back by several referees.
John Silver is with Anna Jay and says that Anna is no longer a rookie, but the “Queen’s Slayer”. She is now in the top 5 of the ranking, so Mr. Brodie Lee has asked Tony Khan for a Women’s Championship next week. In addition to these matches, this is also made official:
Tag Team Match
Chris Jericho & Jake Hager vs. SCU (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian)
AEW Women’s Championship
Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Anna Jay
Tag Team Match
PAC & Rey Fénix vs. The Butcher & The Blade (w/ The Bunny)
* Will Hobbs in action
Tag Team Match
“Absolute” Ricky Starks & “The Machine” Brian Cage won against “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (w / Arn Anderson) & Darby Allin via pin from Cage to Allin after the Avelanche Drill Claw.
Match time: 11:15
– Taz was with the commentators for the match, but after a good three minutes he preferred to go to the ring. There he intervened, which angered Anderson so much that he threw a chair into the ring. That was enough for the referee to send Anderson back to the backstage area.
After the match, the winners still do not let go of Allin. Rhodes tries to intervene, but the heels still have the upper hand. Ultimately, Will Hobbs comes up with a chair and can drive Team Taz out of the ring. Hobbs holds up Cage’s FTW belt. When Cody wants to thank him, Hobbs stretches him down with his belt. Hobbs is a member of Team Taz! The four talk to Rhodes lying on the ground. “We just started,” Taz yells into the camera. This ends today’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
